Hey Randy. What is good or better about it than the bike you have say?

It’s really a bike with a different purpose. This T7 is a 700cc ( I think) that weighs in < 400 lbs, whereas mine is just a 250cc that weighs in around 270-280. This T7 would be a fun bike for a long trip in Colorado, multiple days, but still be light enough to have fun with, it seems. For what I currently do, it wouldn't make too much sense….but I'm a bit underpowered for some stuff. I've gone on a couple of dual-sport rides that are maybe 60 miles, and end up wishing for more comfort and more power. This T7 is more like a competitor for the successful Honda Africa Twin (515 lbs). https://powersports.honda.com/africatwin.aspx
Or may the Husky 701. (around 350 lbs)

I’d probably still rather have the Husky, but it’s expensive…Hopefully the yamaha would come in at an affordable price point. I’m not in the market anyway though…just dreaming.

by the time my kids are grown and I have time to ride more, I’ll be too old.
